A day at PurrNest

A familiar routine is the best way to settle into a new place. Our days follow this rhythm, and we fine-tune the details to your pet's habits.

  1. Breakfast and health check

    Meals follow their routine from home, and we note appetite and general wellbeing.

  2. Play and walks

    One-to-one play for cats; walks and play time for dogs.

  3. Rest

    Quiet hours. Everyone rests in their own room, in their own bed.

  4. Daily photos and video

    Snapshots of their day arrive on your phone. We can video call too, if you like.

  5. Dinner

    Special diets and medication are given as instructed by you and our vet.

  6. Night check

    Lights are dimmed and a final round is made. Supervision continues all night.

Pets can't cross the Green Line to the south, so they can't fly with you from Larnaca or Paphos. Until you're home, they stay safe with us in Kyrenia.

What makes PurrNest different from other pet hotels?
There are no cages here: every guest has a private room of their own. Cats and dogs stay in completely separate wings and never come into contact. Guests are supervised around the clock, and our in-house vet carries out regular check-ups. We collect from and return to your door, run Ercan Airport transfers and send you photos and videos every day. In short, we give your pet a calm, predictable routine.
How do I book, and how do I find out the price?
Just fill in the booking form or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your dates, your pet's species and size, which room you'd like and whether you need a transfer, and we'll send you a personalised quote the same day. The price depends on the length of stay, the number of pets, the room type, any extra services and your transfer zone. Your booking is confirmed once you accept the quote.
Which vaccinations does my cat need?
For cats we ask for the combination vaccine (FVRCP) and a rabies vaccination given at least 21 days before check-in and within the last 12 months. We also need internal and external parasite treatment within about four weeks before arrival, and we recommend the FeLV (feline leukaemia) vaccine. Just bring the vaccination card or pet passport at check-in.
Will my cat hear or smell the dogs?
No. Our cat and dog wings are completely separate: guests never see each other, there's no contact, and the wings are kept apart for scent and sound too. For cats that find the smell of dogs and the sound of barking stressful, this separation is one of the most important parts of their stay.
Can I see my pet while I'm away?
Every day we send you photos and short videos, so you can see for yourself how your pet is eating, playing and resting. If you'd like to see them live, we can arrange a video call at a time when they're relaxed. Updates come via WhatsApp or whichever channel you prefer.
I'm flying from Larnaca. Can my pet come south with me?
No, pets can't cross the Green Line at the crossing points. That's why owners flying from Larnaca need somewhere safe for their pet in the north while they're away, and that's exactly what we're here for. We can collect your pet from home the day before your flight and bring them back to your door when you return. Rules can change, so please confirm the current position with the authorities.
