What to bring

Familiar things and smells help pets settle in. Please bring:

  • Vaccination card or pet passport
  • Their usual food, enough for the whole stay

  • A blanket or toy that smells of home
  • A collar and lead for dogs
  • A carrier for cats

Check-in and check-out

Check-out

Check-in and check-out take place at the time agreed in your booking. If you need a different time, let us know in advance and we will do our best to fit in.

Food

We recommend bringing the food your pet is used to, as a sudden change can upset their stomach. We will ask about their meal times and portions and keep to their routine at home. If your pet is on a special diet, please include the details in your request.

Medication

If your pet takes regular medication, we give it according to your instructions under the supervision of our vet. For injections, including insulin, please give us the dose and times in writing and bring the medication in its original packaging.

Cancellations and changes

If your plans change, please let us know as early as you can. Cancellation and date-change terms are set out in writing in your quote; early notice matters most during busy periods.

Emergencies

Your pet's health comes first. If we notice a problem, this is what we do:

  1. 1 Our in-house vet examines your pet straight away.
  2. 2 We let you know immediately by phone or WhatsApp.
  3. 3 If needed, and with your consent, we take your pet to our partner 24-hour veterinary clinic.
  4. 4 If we cannot reach you in a life-threatening situation, our vet decides on the necessary treatment.

Further details

These conditions exist for one reason: so that your pet and every other guest enjoys a healthy, safe and peaceful stay. If anything here is unclear, just ask us before you book and we will go through it together.

Vaccinations and parasite treatment

We check the vaccination card or pet passport at check-in. Up-to-date vaccinations are a condition of every stay.

For cats

  • Combination vaccine (FVRCP)
  • Rabies vaccine: given at least 21 days before check-in and within the last 12 months
  • Internal and external parasite treatment: within approximately 4 weeks before check-in
  • Feline leukaemia (FeLV) vaccine: recommended

For dogs

  • Combination vaccine (DHPPi+L)
  • Rabies vaccine
  • Kennel cough vaccine: recommended
  • Internal and external parasite treatment
  • Microchip and municipal registration

If you are unsure about the timing of a vaccination, talk to your vet or ask us, and we can plan it together.

To protect the health of our other guests, we cannot accept a pet whose vaccinations are incomplete. For longer stays, if a vaccination is due to expire during the stay, let us plan the renewal together in advance.

Documents

  • Vaccination card or pet passport
  • For dogs: microchip number and municipal registration details
  • Any recent vet reports, plus details of long-term conditions and medication

Sending photos of the documents by WhatsApp or email when you book speeds up check-in.

What to bring

  • Their usual food: enough for the whole stay, ideally with a little extra
  • Medication: in its original packaging, with the dosage and times written down
  • Something familiar: a blanket, cushion or toy that smells of home
  • For dogs: a collar and lead, or a harness
  • For cats: a secure, closed carrier if you are bringing your cat yourself

We provide food and water bowls, bedding and, for cats, litter. We make a note of everything you bring at check-in.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in and check-out times are shown in your booking confirmation. If you need a different time, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to fit around your flights. Home pick-up, drop-off and Ercan Airport transfers are arranged ahead of time.

At check-in we go through your pet's habits, feeding routine and health together. This short chat makes the first few days much easier for everyone.

The first few days

On their first day somewhere new, many animals eat a little less, sleep more or spend time exploring a corner of their room. This is usually completely normal. In the first days our team checks on your pet more often, keeps track of appetite and toilet habits, and sends you the first update the same day. If anything catches our attention, we consult our vet and let you know.

Food

Keeping your pet on their usual food is the simplest way to avoid the tummy upsets a change of scene can bring. We are happy to follow special diets, sensitive-stomach food and any instructions about mealtimes. Please give us the amounts and feeding frequency in writing.

Daily updates

Throughout the stay we share photos and videos every day. At check-in, tell us whether you would rather receive them by WhatsApp or email and, if you will be in a different time zone, which times suit you. If you would like to see your pet live, we can also arrange a video call.

Medication and health

  • Our vet checks every guest on arrival and carries out regular check-ups throughout the stay.
  • Please tell us in advance about any long-term condition, allergy, recent surgery or behavioural sensitivity.
  • Medication and insulin are given according to your written instructions, and every dose is recorded.
  • To protect our other guests, we may not be able to accept a pet showing signs of a contagious illness.
  • If we find fleas or ticks, our vet treats them and we let you know.

Behaviour and temperament

Every animal has its own character. If your pet is frightened of thunder, tends to try to escape, reacts to other animals or strangers, or dislikes being touched in certain places, please tell us. It helps us plan their room, their routine and how we approach them. If your pet is not neutered, or a female may come into season, please let us know in advance so we can plan their room and routine accordingly. We never force an animal; every guest settles in at their own pace.

Cancellations and changes

If your plans change, please let us know as early as possible. The cancellation and date-change conditions are set out in writing in the quote we send you, and you are welcome to ask about anything before you confirm.

Emergencies

If a health problem arises during the stay, our vet acts immediately and we contact you straight away. For that reason we ask you for:

  • A phone number on which you can be reached throughout your trip
  • An emergency contact in case we cannot reach you
  • Your confirmation at check-in of how you would like us to proceed if we cannot reach you

If someone else is collecting your pet

If someone other than you will collect your pet at check-out, please give us their name and contact details in advance. For your pet's safety, we only hand them over to the person you have named.
